How do I care for my board?

Although you can, we recommend not using our boards as cutting boards. We design our boards as serving or for charcuterie arrangements. Simple cleanup: wash with gentle soap and warm water.

Do you do custom or bespoke projects other than serving boards?

It depends! Let’s have a chat and we’ll see what we can do for you 😊

What do your boards typically cost?

Every serving board we make is unique and one-of-a-kind. We intentionally choose not to use templates when designing our boards to ensure that everyone who purchases an Elm Street Shop board has something special. Instead, we meticulously study the grain patterns of each slab of wood we work with to find the best design that showcases the unique characteristics of the wood.

The price is determined on several factors which include but are not limited to:

  • The initial lumber cost and rarety of the material

  • The complexity of the design (handle, number of inlays, and any other unique features)

  • The number of hours dedicated to that particular piece

With that said, our boards range in price but typically can be anywhere between $80-$250.

What are your shipping costs?

We are based out of Pembroke, Massachusetts. We will hand-deliver for free to anyone living in Pembroke or a neighboring town. Otherwise, we will gladly package your board up and ship to anywhere in the continental U.S. for a $10 fee per board.
